A PMS Winter

Brrr...it is getting cold outside and that white stuff keeps showing up on the ground.  We haven't accumulated any snow yet, but we have a had a couple of mornings where it looks so pretty outside...it just melts by the end of the day!  Guess that is not all bad.

To celebrate the start of winter, Paper Makeup Stamps is having a Blog Hop.  So hop along with us (the link list is below) and get some PMS winter inspiration!

I went back to an oldie (ok I think it is only a year old)...Moody for Presents!  I colored the stamp directly with markers.  The card layout is from the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #137 and the Christmasy color combo is the current SCS Color Challenge #352.

Now don't forget to check out what all of the other artists have in store for you!

And don't forget about the Paper Makeup Stamps Rubber Closeout Sale...you can get 45% off all rubber stamps using the code CLOSEOUT45.  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

iBday

I love online shopping!  I almost done with my kids Christmas shopping just from online shopping one night.  Something about relaxing in your pjs, looking for cheap prices, and knocking out quite a bit of shopping in one night makes me happy!  Do you do a lot of online shopping?  I can't really do clothes though online...I need to see them, feel them.  I still have lots of brick and mortar stores to hit before I am done, but it feels good to finally have a jump-start on my Christmas shopping!

This card has nothing to do with online shopping, but I love it nonetheless.  It too was submitted a while back for Paper Crafts Magazine and actually uses one of the Paper Crafts sketches from the big sketch call they had (but I didn't make it in time for that call).  Anyway it uses one of my favorite Monsters from Paper Makeup Stamps: Eye Pod.  The sentiment was printed by me (no stamp).

Did you hear that Paper Makeup Stamps is retiring all of their rubber?  They are going to an all digi company.  So if you want some of the awesome Paper Makeup images in rubber form, you can get them for 45% off with the code CLOSEOUT45!  You can read all of the details on the PMS Blog and then go fill your cart at Paper Makeup Stamps!

Until my next late post, thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Eye Pod (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake (SU!), Rockstar Mat Stack (DCWV); Ink - Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip (SU!), Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko); Accessories - paper distresser (Tim Holtz), Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), dimensionals, aquabrush

Snow One Should Miss a Blog Hop

It is that special time again...time for a Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop!  I love the new release Blog Hops...the sight of new stamps just make me happy!!

You should be arriving from Michelle's Blog (didn't she do an awesome job?!), but if you didn't make sure you jump back to the beginning at the PMS Blog so you don't miss a thing!

I get to show you another new Color Kid, Snowflake (I used the digi version).  Isn't she just the cutest cutting out a snowflake?  Makes me want to cut out snowflakes with my kids...although I will have to remember HOW to cut out snowflakes again!

I had some leftover snowflake pattern paper by Jillibean Soup from last year at Christmas time and used that for my color combo.  I used an older Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #79 for my layout.

So now you should be off to go visit Lisa M's Blog (you will love what she has in store for you...as usual!).  Don't forget to join us at the Release Party tonight at 9 pm EST in the PMS Forum...you are sure to have lots of laughs, fun, and a chance to win some prizes too!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

Sneak Peek by a Mad Crafter

I get the opportunity to show off one of the great sets that is being released this month at Paper Makeup Stamps.  This one is all about gift giving and how to label that gift!  It is filled with gift giving labels and a bunch of solid images.  So if you give handmade gifts...this is right up your alley!

The "Mad Crafter" sentiment really spoke to me as I do all of my stamping after the kids are in bed, so it is not that uncommon for me to be crafting after midnight!  I don't have any handmade gifts on hand right now and I truly didn't have time to make something, so I simply made a tag that I could later attach to a handmade gift.

I used the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #213 for my layout and used some scraps of pattern paper.  Remember organza ribbon...nobody uses it anymore...but I still have a lot...so I used it here!

Make sure to check out the PMS Blog to see what the other Design Team members came up with using this set.  Don't forget to then join us tomorrow at the PMS Blog for a Blog Hop in the morning and then for the Release Party at 9 om EST on the PMS Forum!  You are sure to have lots of fun!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Handmade Set Digi (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Rich Razzleberry (SU!), So Sophie Collection Pattern paper (Bo Bunny); Ink - None; Accessories - Circle and Big Scalloped Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Corner Rounder Punch (SU!), Organza Ribbon (Offray), dimensionals

Gift Wrapping Some Sneak Peeks

Can you believe that there are only a little over 50 days left until Christmas?  Ahhhh!  But then again, I probably wouldn't have it any other way than to cram everything into the last two months.  I actually probably cram most of it into the last 25 days...I just don't do well with working ahead.

This little Gift Wrapper (part of the new Color Kids collection at Paper Makeup Stamps) is a Sneak Peek at the upcoming Release from Paper Makeup Stamps!  There are some great stamps in this release...I think I say that every release, but it is true!

Anyway the Gift Wrapper would be perfect for Christmas, or totally not Christmas like I did here.  I used an old Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #134 for my layout and picked out my colors from the pattern paper I used.

Make sure to check out the other Sneak Peeks for the day and all of the Sneak Peeks leading up to the November 7th Blog Hop at the PMS Blog.  Then join us for a fun Release Party in the PMS Forum on the 7th at 9 pm EST!  I have one more sneak peek for you, so until then, thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Gift Wrapper Digi (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Melon Mambo Textured, Pretty in Pink, Garden Green (SU!), Sultry Paper Pad (Basic Grey), watercolor paper; Ink - Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Kiwi Kiss, Blush Blossom (SU!); Accessories - Oval and Scalloped Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Pink Rhinestones (Darice), Hot Pink Satin Ribbon (Offray), Corner Rounder Punch (SU!), dimensionals, aquabrush

Fall Wish

I really love Fall...the colors, the smell, the crispness of the air.  We had a totally Fall weekend this weekend and it was fantastic!  Got a date night with my Hubby to finally celebrate out Anniversary, went to a couple soccer games, visited a corn maze at night, sat by a bonfire, and went pumpkin picking (hay ride and all).

So it is no wonder that with all of those Fall activities, I wanted to play with the Color It Autumn set from Paper Makeup Stamps.  This set is great for coloring...or not coloring like I did!  I did some masking to layer the images on a piece of Solar White Classic Linen from Paper Temptress.  Gives the card a lovely texture...which is easier to see in the detail shot.  My other panels were dressed up with Copper Ore Glimmer cardstock and Nero Incandescent cardstock...both are some of my favorites from Paper Temptress!

The layout for the card is from the SCS Sketch Challenge #355 and the color combination came from the Color Throwndown #164 Challenge.  I dyed white taffeta ribbon with my Rich Razzleberry marker and added some olive pearls for some added detail.

This will be my last official card (and Company Blog Post) with Paper Temptress as my Design Team term is up.  I have so enjoyed representing Paper Temptress and have fallen in love with the cardstock.  I know I will be back for more!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Color It Autumn, Celebration Sentiments (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Olive Basis 80#, Copper Ore Glimmer, Nero Incandescent, Solar White Classic Linen (Paper Temptress); Ink - Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie (SU!), Momento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Accessories - white taffeta ribbon (SU!), edge punch (Friskars), Corner Rounder Punch (SU!), Olive Pearls (Oriental Trading), dimensionals

What an Accomplishment

Last weekend my husband ran a Half Marathon as part of the Detroit Marathon.  I am always inspired by how many people get out there and run 13.1 miles (or the even crazier people running the 26.2 miles).  I walked a half marathon last year and no matter how you look at it, it is a huge accomplishment.

This card is not at all related to that beyond the "Accomplishment" part.  I obviously did not give this to my husband, but it would be perfect for a young or teenage girl whom may have made a small of large accomplishment.

The School Girl Fairy is from Paper Makeup Stamps...there is a matching School Boy Fairy too!  I stamped her in Chocolate Chip ink on some pattern paper from Basic Grey that looks like notepaper.  I did some very fancy crumpling (haha), binder punch the edge, and then went over the image with a aquabrush to bleed the image.  Then I colored in portions of the image with some chalks.  I think it is a pretty cool look!

Well I hope that you can accomplish something today (big or small)!  I cheer for just checking something off of my To Do List (which is enormous right now as we prepare for a trip without children!!).  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - School Girl Fairy, What an Accomplishment Sentiment (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Rose Red, Garden Green (SU!), White Basics Paper Pad (Basic Grey), Other Pattern Paper (Basic Grey); Ink - Chocolate Chip (SU!); Accessories - Labels 8 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Binding Edge Punch (EK Success), Hemp Twine, aquabrush, Stampin' Pastels (SU!), dimensionals

It's a Monster Mash with a Little Football!

Alright so I am not feeling especially chatty right now...a cold has been making its way through my family and apparently it might be my turn.  Ugh!  I was really hoping I was going to escape this one.  Unfortunately, my poor daughter has gotten all of them!!  So I will keep this short and sweet.

Today is the Monster Mash Blog Hop with Paper Makeup Stamps!  A chance for the design team and some customers to showcase one of my favorite lines, the Monsters!  You can use the following Link List to follow along and marvel at everyone's awesome creations:

As for me, I used the Football Fan Monster.  My layout is from the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #209.  The monster had to wear Maize and Blue in honor of my Michigan Wolverines!  Then I created my little football field...which I love how it turned out!

So make sure to hop along to all of the blogs so you don't miss a thing.  And while you are seeing all of these awesome monsters, take note of the ones you like, head to the Paper Makeup Stamps Store and put them in a cart.  The Monsters are on 15% off for one week using the promo code: MONSTERHOP...a perfect time to stock up if I do say so myself!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

Engineering Details
Stamps - Football Fan Monster (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Early Espresso (SU!), Summer Grass (Pebbles Inc), watercolor paper; Ink - Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Night of Navy, Crushed Curry (SU!); Accessories - Blue and yellow twine (unknown), Argyle Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (Provo), white gel pen, Edge Distresser, Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), dimensionals

Lovely Anniversary

Wow it feels like I may be starting to figure out how to get our new schedule working...only took me a month!  Sheesh!  Some days feel like some what controlled chaos...which probably turns into complete chaos on occasions.  I am definitely learning what nights I need to do crockpot meals!  Then my son is being bumped up a level in his swim classes, so the schedule will be changing again!  Ahhhh!

But I can find my sanity with a little crafting, so I was happy to sit down and make a card for the latest Card Patterns Sketch #135...which by the way, Paper Makeup Stamps is sponsoring!!  So make sure to check it out and participate to get a chance to win some free PMS!  I also get to show off some of the amazing Paper Temptress cardstocks...make sure to check out all of the amazing cards and projects that the rest of the Paper Temptress Design Team has created on the Paper Temptress Blog.

I kept the design simple so that the Paper Temptress cardstock could shine.  The simple Love Heart from the Hugs & Kisses set from Paper Makeup Stamps was perfect.  I kind of blended my three circles from the sketch together and then accenuated them with pearls.  The heart was stamped on Iridescent Cryogen White with Versamark and embossed.  Then I colored over it with a marker and punched it out.  The beautiful Laser Silver Lustre cardstock that makes up the main face of the card is perfect since it has a subtle pattern to it.

Well I will be back next week with some exciting news...can't let the cat out of the bag yet!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Hugs & Kisses (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Laser Silver Lustre, Azalea Mica/Metallic, Alpine Aster Glimmer, Iridescent Cryogen White, Brown Basis #80 (Paper Temptress); Ink - Versamark (Tsukineko), Melon Mambo Marker, Early Espresso (SU!); Accessories - Crystal Clear Embossing Powder (SU!), Pearls (Oriental Trading), Brown 5/8" Splitz Ribbon (Paper Temptress), Circle Nestabilties (Spellbinders), 1-1/4" Circle, 1-3/8" Circle, Scalloped Edge, corner rounder Punches (SU!), dimensionals

Most Beautiful Sponsorship

Taking a break today from the Paper Makeup Stamps Sneak Peeks to let you know about a sketch challenge that Paper Makeup Stamps is sponsoring (hint, hint, means there is a chance for winning some rubber!).  Be sure to still bop over to the PMS Blog though to see today's sneak peeks.

So Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog has a great sketch for you...I think it was designed by our very own Lisa M!  I was in need of a wedding card and I chose to use "The Most Beautiful Thing" wordart, but it did require me to turn the sketch.  But that is totally allowed!  I inked up the stamp with the different colors (my favorite technique for wordarts).  I followed the sketch pretty closely, but I felt the need to add the ribbon...for some reason it helped me tie everything together.

Anyway, check out Paper Sundaes Sketch Challenge, get a little inky, and maybe you could win some new Paper Makeup Stamps!  Here is to enjoying our last weekend before school!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - The Most Beautiful Thing Wordart (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White (SU!), pattern paper (??); Ink - Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie Markers (SU!); Accessories - Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon (SU!), Ticker Corner Punch (SU!), Orange Rhinestones (Me & My Big Ideas), dimensionals

Gimme a High Five for Sneak Peeks

We are gearing up for school finally around here.  We start after Labor Day, so we get one last weekend off and then we jump head first into school!  It was amazing how much my calendar exploded when I started putting in all of the school activities and after school activities in my calendar.  Now I also have my daughter starting preschool, so I have her school's activities too.  Serious explosion!

But before all of that begins, there is a bunch happening at Paper Makeup Stamps.  We have a new release which includes a NEW Collection!  This cutie-patootie is one of them.  The Collection is called the Color Kids and are illustrated by Diem Pascarella (same one that draws the Retro Cutie Critters and the Fairies).  The kids are super cute!  I have the pleasure of showing you High Five.  A sweet girl finger (or hand) painting and it comes with a sentiment that I shortened to just "high five" here.  Be sure to check out the PMS Blog to see the other sneak peeks at the new Color Kids Collection...psst, there may be prizes involved.  Keep checking in daily, hit the Blog Hop on the 7th, and then join us at the Release Party in the PMS Forum at 9 pm EST.  The word on the street is that the more friends you "bring" to the party, the more chances you have at winning some prizes!!!

Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

Sympathetic Mojo

We are nearing the end of summer...still a lot of fun to be had!  But, man, has it flown by!  My yard shows how busy we have been...there are weeds (and some trees that shouldn't be there) everywhere.  I am either going to "invite" my Mom over for a weekend or actually set aside some time to do some yardwork.  I think I like the Mom idea better.  Afterall, she loves to garden...I would only be making her happy right?!  In the midst of all of the fun, my husband had a co-worker that lost his wife to a battle with cancer, so a sympathy card was requested.

So pulling the latest Mojo Monday Sketch (by the way, did you guys see that I was one of the winners of the last Mojo Monday contests!  You can see my card that won HERE), the color combo from the Color Throwdown Challenge #154 , and my beautiful Paper Temptress cardstock, I went to creating a sympathy card.  I recently got the "When There's Nothing Left to Say" stamp  set from Paper Makeup Stamps...one of those sets that can be so perfect in times like these, but yet one you hope you don't have to use.  Anyway, this was the first time I inked it up.

The beautiful shimmer and sparkle of the card (seen better in the close-up shot) come from the Autumn Hay Glimmer and Gold Sparkle cardstock from Paper Temptress.  Truly beautiful cardstock!  Not sure I would have ever added the photo corner in the LH corner, but it was part of the sketch, so I kept it in.  You can see my post on the Paper Temptress Blog HERE.

Back to bright summer days filled with happiness, so I don't have to think about how it would feel to lose a spouse at such a young age!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - When There's Nothing Left to Say (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Autumn Hay Glimmer, Gold Sparkle, Olive Basis #80, Gray Basis #80 (Paper Temptress), Porcelain Collection (Basic Grey); Ink - Basic Gray (SU!); Accessories - Circle and Big Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Scallop Edge Punch and Photo Corner Punch (SU!), Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder (Provo), Olive Green Pearls (Oriental Trading), white gel pen, dimensionals

A Blog Hop for a Cutie

It is time for a Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop and this month's theme is Oldies But Goodies!  Since I am the first stop on the Hop past the PMS Blog, you are in the right spot!  But do make sure to check out the PMS Blog for all of the details on the prizes to be won!

I pulled out an oldie that hadn't seen any ink yet...one of the Retro Cutie Critters: Lucy Mouse.  She is all dressed up (purse and all) and ready to go!  I actually didn't use a sketch for this card (I know, I gasped too!), but then again my layout is pretty basic.  But sometimes simplicity is the key.  Lucy was stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black on watercolor paper and then I watercolored her with ink pads and an aquabrush.  The pattern paper is from a very long retired Bali Breeze from Stampin' Up! The sentiment is from the Cutie Critter Sayings that perfectly matches some of the Retro Cutie Critters...I think it is about time to add an addition to the sayings for the new critters!  The color choice comes from the current Color Throwdown Challenge #153.

Now you are off to Anita's Blog to see what kind of Oldie she has in store for you.  Once you finish the hop, make sure to jump over to Paper Makeup Stamps and fill a cart with some of these Oldies (some of them are even on Sale too!).  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Lucy Mouse, Cutie Critter Sayings (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Crumb Cake, Tempting Turquoise, Bali Breeze Pattern Paper (SU!), watercolor paper; Ink - Crumb Cake, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Pink Pirouette Marker (SU!), Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko); Accessories - Signo White Gel Pen, Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen (Sakura), Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirl Embossing Folder (Provo), Clear Rhinstones (Darice), Ticket Corner Punch (SU!), dimensionals, aquabrush

Monster Party Time

I think the month of July was skipped or something.  Seriously, how is it August already?!  July must have been a very busy month...we did have two trips in there...because it felt like it just flew by!

So I think I am sneaking this card in a little early, but I didn't want to interfere with the Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop later today, so better early than late, right?  There is (or at least there will be) a new Makeover Challenge on the PMS Blog and it is to use the sizzling colors of summer (reds, oranges, and yellows).  With the amount of heat we have had (and it is nothing to compared to those in the South) I have felt these colors frequently!  I also used the current Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #202.  The triangles still throw me off some, but they are growing on me!  Anyway, I paper pieced Spike together and pulled my "Sizzling Summer" colors together with a lot of black and a bit of white.  Perfect for my hubby turning one year older!  The sentiment from the Celebrations Set was then stamped in white.

Make sure you check out all of the details for the Makeover Challenge on the PMS Blog...and hey if I am early like I think I am, you will get a head start!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details

Dancing in the Rain

Is summer flying by for everyone else or is it just me?  I feel like summer is almost over...probably due to all of that back-to-school stuff I am seeing in the stores!  We have had a busy, busy last couple of weeks.  My family made a trip to Cedar Point where my son rode on every roller coaster he was allowed to by height...even Millennium Force which is the 4 tallest steel coaster in the world!  Craziness!  Let me remind you he is only 6!  I couldn't go on that one with him...I was too nervous for him and when I rode on it with my husband, the first hill caused expletives (that my son should not hear me say) to come out of my mouth!  We had a great time!  And now we have a family wedding out in Colorado...so the busy part continues.

Hence why I am so terribly late in posting some cards I made with the incredible Paper Temptress cardstock.  I posted on the Paper Temptress Blog this card (and another I still haven't shown) awhile back, but I am just now getting a chance to show it here.  I feel like this card used a sketch for my layout, but I cannot for the life of me figure out which one!   Anyway it showecases the awesome Paper Makeup Stamps Fairy Silhouettes.  This one is the Emma Silhouette and the sentiment (that goes perfectly with her) is also from Paper Makeup Stamps.

The beautiful cardstocks on this card are all Paper Temptress.  The sun rays were created with oh-so-sparkly Copper and Antique Gold Mica/Metallic Cardstock and Gold Sparkle Cardstock.  The base is the beautifully textured Pool from the Treasures line.  I completed it with a pleated satin white ribbon and a gold twine on top.

So here is hoping that summer slows down just a little bit, so I can enjoy it a little bit longer.  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Emma Silhouette, Danced in the Rain Sentiment (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Pool Treasures 80#, Gold Sparkle, Antique Gold Mica/Metallic, Copper Mica/Metallic, Heavenly White 100# (Paper Temptress); Ink - Versamark (Tsukineko); Accessories - black embossing powder, white satin ribbon (Offray), Gold Twine (unknown), dimensionals, scissors

Makeover of a New Artist

I am a little late in getting this post up...really meant to do it last Friday.  Paper Makeup Stamps had a fun July Release Party last Thursday and with it, some new challenges were released...Paper Makeover Challenges!  A fun name for some fun challenges.  This is my sample for one of the challenges:  CASE one of the new PMS Makeup Artists.  With this last release, we introduced 4 new Makeup Artists and promoted 3 to Senior Makeup Artists.  I browsed around the new girls blogs and found this card by Shana.  It just spoke to me with all of those little squares, so I decided to CASE it!

I chose to break out the un-inked Milo rockin' his drums.  I decided to try and make it a graduation card and used the subjects paper from the High School Paper pad.  Milo was stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored.  I then cut him out and adhered his to a piece of very vanilla cardstock that had been sponged with Chocolate Chip.  Each square was also sponged.  Finished it off with a bunch of brown/white baker's twine.

Wanna join in on the Paper Makeover Challenges and have a chance to win a Paper Makeup Stamps Gift Certificate, make a card for either Paper Makeover Challenge, use a PMS stamp (don't forget all of the Freebie Friday Digis), and link it up to the PMS Blog.  Most of all have fun!!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!

The Engineering Details
Stamps - Milo, Little Moments (Paper Makeup Stamps); Paper - Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla (SU!), High School Paper Pad (DCWV), watercolor paper; Ink - Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red (SU!); Accessories - brown/white baker's twine (unknown), dimensionals, sponge

July Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop

Well I am trying to write this post very late at night as having to make this card kind of snuck up on me...I always hate trying to make a card, photograph it, and post it in the same night.  Always makes for a very late night.  So since it is late, not much chatter for you.  I do still have a couple of posts coming that I hope will be of interest.  But until then, let's get to this Blog Hop!

You should be arriving to my blog from the wonderful Michelle...if you didn't start at the beginning, then make sure you head to the PMS Blog so you don't miss a single piece of inspiration and collect your letters for 15% off the entire release!

I used one of the new silhouettes: Emma Silhouette for my card.  I went for the "Joseph Dreamcoat Technique"...at least that is what I think it is called.  Anyway, I scribbled markers on a piece of Iridescent Cryogen White cardstock from Paper Temptress.  Then I stamped and clear embossed my silhouette over top of my scribbles.  Then I brayered black over top a bunch of times and finally wiped any ink that was on the embossed image.  Kind of fun!  I love how the sparkle from the Cryogen White cardstock still shines through embossing and brayering.  The layout is from the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #198 and the color combo is from the SCS Color Challenge #330.

Well I am the last stop on the Blog Hop, but before you go, here is my letter:

Don't forget to join us at the Release Party on the PMS Forum, 9 - 11 pm.  Dawn has been cooking up some Release Party challenges (called Paper Makeover Challenges) to make it even more fun!  Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!
