So this week, the Makeup 4 the Weekend Challenge #40 is pretty simple...create a birthday card! Always in need of birthday cards, so this is a perfect challenge! Well I don't have much PMS stamps that are on the order of true birthday stuff, so I went down the route of birthday wishes. I pulled out my favorite stamp set, Dandy Wishes...seriously I just love this set! I colored the stamp directly with markers, spritzed a few times with water and stamped it on watercolor paper...easy watercolor technique! The large stamp did not fit over the whole area I was covering, so I had to ink up a portion of the smaller silhouette stamp to fill in...can you tell? Honestly, I am not even sure where exactly I filled in now...I must be that good...hehe! Then I stamped the greeting, added some pink pearls and popped the whole thing up on my card base of Regal Rose.
So I know you all need birthday cards, so go check out what the other design team members have to show you on the PMS Blog, then get to work...just make sure you link it up to the Makeup 4 the Weekend Challenge #40 post afterwards! There may actually be a chance for some free rubbah if you use PMS images when you create your card! We can't wait to see what you make! Thanks for checking out my kind of engineering!
